Grief and loss therapy
As common as grief and loss is, it can feel unbearable at times. Losing someone you love or something special to you, can lead to questioning everything you once felt you knew about life, bringing with it complicated feelings of anger, regret, guilt, resentment and more.
Whatever way you choose to grieve, know that I will not minimize your loss, and am here to understand your unedited and real experience; helping you move towards acceptance and healing.
Know that I am wholeheartedly here to support you through this difficult time.
I am certified in Compassionate Bereavement Care. This means I am specifically trained to work with individuals, couples and families who have experienced a traumatic loss. Current literature recognizes traumatic grief as the death of a baby or child, violent death, suicide, homicide, and untimely deaths. I believe that counseling those affected by traumatic grief is an art that is informed by science.
